Step 1.Contact Priority Management and indicate your interest in seeking recognition for BSBWOR301A. We will send you a pre-enrolment information package that contains a Student Information Booklet, the RPL Self Assessment and the Priority Management Enrolment Form. You are then requested to undertake a self assessment activity to identify your strengths and weaknesses in recognition evidence.

Step 2.If you consider that you have the right stuff to seek recognition, complete and submit the enrolment form along with the self assessment document to Priority Management. Once this documentation is received, we will make contact with you and organise to send you an invoice for the enrolment application fee. On receipt of your payment, Priority Management will arrange a suitable time to undertake the recognition assessment planning interview.

Step 3.Visit us at Priority Management, West End or arrange a time for a teleconference or Skype meeting to participate in the recognition assessment planning interview. During this interview, the assessor will guide you in the preparation of your recognition evidence and will provide advice about the type of evidence that is considered valid. The recognition assessment planning interview will result in a written plan for you to put into action.

Step 4.Armed with your plan, you then prepare and submit the Work History and Documentary Evidence Report. Students may contact their assessor for assistance during working hours.

Step 5.The Assessor will review recognition evidence you have supplied and arrange a time to undertake a recognition interview in order to assess your level of required knowledge and current competence. This interview may also be conducted at Priority Management, West End via teleconference or Skype meeting and involves a conversation into specific knowledge areas relating to the unit. At this point the Assessor may finalise their assessment or may seek further assessment evidence in the form of a completed assessment project which is a work based project completed and returned to Priority Management. Based on all assessment evidence, the assessor will finalise and report their assessment decision. The assessor will provide you with detailed feedback about your assessment results.

Step 6.If you are not satisfied with the results of your assessment, you have the right to appeal the assessment decision. Assessment appeals will generally result in additional assessment opportunities being provided to you.
