Why? So you don’t get interrupted with too many pop up notifications from Teams, guaranteed to improve productivity.

1. Open Teams
2. Click Activity (from left rail)
3. Click Settings icon

 

4. You can now review your Teams notifications

5. Turn off Missed activity emails to prevent Teams emailing you activity
6. Keep style as Teams Built-in to see a purple notification box
7. Turn off Show message preview to prevent chat message content appearing
8. Click Customised to manage notifications across all Teams and Channels
9. Wherever possible switch from Banner and Feed to Only Show in Feed to reduce pop up alerts.
