Working Smart with Meetings Power Hour

How much of your week disappears into meetings, and how many of them truly earn their place?

This high energy Power Hour shows you how to make every meeting count, before, during, and after, so your time is spent on outcomes rather than overruns.

You will learn how to test whether a meeting is even needed, build a purposeful POSTE agenda, and set up Microsoft Teams and Outlook so the technology works for you. We will also show how Copilot and AI note taking can capture decisions, actions, and summaries for you automatically.

From there we explore the three key meeting roles, simple ways to stay on time, and practical techniques for managing different meeting personalities so everyone stays engaged. You will finish with a follow up and evaluation routine that turns good intentions into completed actions.

Whether your meetings are in person, virtual, or hybrid, you will leave with practical tools you can apply in your very next meeting.

What to Expect

You will learn how to challenge unnecessary meetings, create purposeful agendas, leverage Microsoft Teams and Copilot, and facilitate discussions that stay focused on outcomes.

Through practical examples and proven techniques, you will discover how to improve participation, manage challenging meeting behaviours and establish simple follow-up routines that drive accountability. By the end of the session, you will have practical tools you can apply in your very next meeting.
